Hey Guys, Recently another developer shared another Marshmallow ROM for ASUS Zenfone 5. This is stable and official version of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow from tank0412 and it is based on CM13. This builds create on latest Google Android 6.0.1 source code with Linux 3.10.x kernel. Below you can read working features and bug's. This Resurrection Remix ROM tested with Zenfone 5 T00J/T00F but do it with your own risk and I am not responsible for any damage. Hello Guys, In this text tutorial I will teach you how to update ASUS zenfone 2 in android 6.0 marshmallow. First, I am telling you this is a custom ROM from cynogenmod CM13 for zenfone 2 but in the upcoming months we will get an official update from ASUS. This ROM has android 6.0.x OS and Linux kernel 3.10.x version.

This kernel will work on stock Lollipop firmware 3.23.40.52, 3.23.40.60, 3.24.40.78 or 3.24.40.87. This method tested with 3.24.40.78 WW firmware. And do not try this kernel with Kitkat firmware. This is the Latest TWRP Recovery for ASUS Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 6. TWRP Recovery has a great feature like fast and stable if we compare with Old Phiz/TWRP Recovery. This is very helpful tool to backup a stock ROM and easily restore by One-Click.

You need to unlock bootloader on your Zenfone device in order to able to introduce TWRP Recovery. If you are already unlocked your bootloader go to the next step. Otherwise, you can check out our Tutorial about How To Unlock Bootloader.

Warning

This method tested with Lollipop update and I am not sure it will be working with Kitkat version. And This tutorial voids your warrant term and condition. Do it with your own risk I am not responsible for any damage or bricked device.
